Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO)
Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry is a non-profit education association representing the interests of optometric education. ASCO's membership encompasses the seventeen schools and colleges of optometry in the United States and Puerto Rico. A number of foreign optometry schools are affiliate members.

American Optometric Association
The American Optometric Association represents optometrists in the United States. Provides brochures on eye problems for the lay public and professional materials on eye care delivery. Coordinates VISION USA, a program to provide free eye care to uninsured, low-income workers and their families.

Contact Lens Manufacturers Association
Resources for contact lens labs, patients and practitioners. The Contact Lens Manufacturers Association website links to the RGP Lens Institute which has RGP fitting resources, online chats and a quarterly newsletter.

National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO)
The National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) website has been designed to answer the most commonly asked questions about the "National Boards" and to assist you as you prepare for our examinations. This site will also be of value when you apply to the state boards for a license to practice.

National Optometric Association (NOA)

Texas Optometric Association (TOA)
